99 e150 tranny troubles
99e150 xlt clubwagon with E40d auto tranny. almost (99%) everytime i come to a complete stop (stoplight or sign) and release the brake to proceed, it feels like my tranny/driveline turns a few inches before engaging and moving the van. i also hear a clunk. i had ford look at it way back and they said they could not duplicate the problem. just the other day, i was going through my service records and came upon the dealer service ticket for that visit and actually read it. it not only acknowledged the problem, but referenced a ford technical bulliten. well, it's been 4 years and i'm way past the warranty. any help will be great. i know this is supposed to be a decent tranny. my wife is the primary driver and it's used for her daycare.
