lowering-revisted.

Yes, I know this topic has been discussed before but I'm taking a different angle this time.
I want to lower the front and rear of mine only an inch to an inch and a half. I feel if I lower the front 2 inches or more the wheel will rub the plastic inner fender liner on full compression. Of course I could remove the plastic but then I'll get the rocks flying off of the tires and making lots of noise.
So I guess I'm asking if I can use say a 6cyl coil up front or cut an inch out of mine (with a chop saw, not a torch) without it affecting caster/camber or ride significantly. I know in the rear I can remove a leaf or two which would lower towing capacity but I do not tow very often.
Also does anyone know if the spring must be removed to get the bracket for the sway bar off/on? A friends truck got wrecked and it has a factory front sway bar that I can have. It looks like mine has the bracket for it but I can't quite tell how it hooks up, any info would be appreciated.

If you remove two springs in the back I am afraid you will find your self yawing down the road like a boat with no rudder. You can get a 2" drop in the back with shackles or make your own for a 1" drop.

Thats kinda what I figured, the back isn't as big of a deal to lower as the front, lots of room back there. Yours is lowered pretty drastically in the front, more than an inch if I remember what you've said in other posts, what size wheel/tire do you run (how tall is it also) and do they rub anything under compression or full lock to lock turning?

I've got the 3" drop "I" beams and I think the coil probably has sunk a little over the years. I'll be replacing the spring. 235r6015 don't hit but it's close.
