Power Steering Box issues
My 97 F250 (see sig) has about 1/4 turn of play in the steering wheel. It just slops back and forth without affecting the steering. This sucks when driving beacause the truck will suddenly drift left or right without any input from the steering wheel. I think the steering box might be jacked. What box does my rig have, and how hard is it to rebuild, if rebuilding is possible? I searched and found a few threads related to saginaw boxes, but dunno if thats what my truck runs. Turning right is also easier than left for some ***-odd reason too.

You can buy reman boxes from most part stores. Too many parts in there to start fooling with. My 88 F150 had a bunch of slop also, I had a bad drag link. Have you checked out the front end to make sure nothing is worn out??
