Alpine SPS-170A

I am thinking about these to replace my busted not quite two year old Polk speakers. Does anyone have an opinion on these or other 6.5 speakers for the door of my Bronco? Also, any good online vendors? They have them locally for $100 but some online stores have them as low as $54.

I have an older set of alpine in my doors, and love them. Give good sound across spectrum. As far as vendors, just check around, and tell them you are. Try Crutchfield, Best buy, Circuit City, as well as the local guys.

to help xtend the life of your door speakers--put a set of xtc baffles in --the baffles will keep moisute\dust\dirt off of the speaker

for online vendors check out www.etronics.com
or www.onlinecarstereo.com

Where would be the best place to get the XTC Baffles? Crutchfield has them but I would be paying as much to ship as the baffles cost.

I bought everything from Crutchfield and just returned the speakers to Circuit City they have gone downhill in the past few years as far as customer service.
