how do you figure out what gear your re-end is? 2001 f-350sd 7.3

Should be a metal tag fastened to one of the bolts on the rear diff cover. The ratio will be stamped on it.

Or just put what you find on here.

If it's a dually F350, it can have either 3.73 or 4.10.
If it's a SRW F350, then it has 3.73 gears as that's all that Ford offers w/PSD.
