I have a 2000 f150 with 17" rims, I would like to go larger then the stock tire by about one or two sizes, nothing to dramatic though. I can't seem to find hardley any tires that are any larger then what I have for a 17" rim. They are the stock tires that came with the truck, does anyone know of some tires that are larger and still road friendly, something like an all-terrian style tire???
That looks like a nice tire, im not to sure about the it fitting like you stated though. It shoule the stock Michelons i have on it right now are 31.8 inches tall and those are only 32.9 Although the width is a lot more......
check out www.tirerack.com .....it should give you some ideas for tires sizes and prices.....if your tires are measuring 31.8" i take it you have around a 245/75/17 ?
I have been to tirerack.com but I would like to see if there are anymore options available out there. Tirerack doesnt seem to have the size im looking for. Right now my tires are 265/70R17 which is 31.7 inches tall according to Michelen. The pro comp tires do look good though they are 32.9 inches tall so that would be a descent increase in size and the width is a little more to.
