Okay guys, I resisted (no pun intended) the urge to do the 10k mod because I didn't want to screw with the computer. But after reading and re-reading the posts on it, I had to try it. Not a bone jaring gain, but you can damn sure feel it. But I wanted to turn it on while driving so I could actually feel the difference. Here's the funny part. I have this old switch like the one in Mel Gibsons car in The Road Warrior. You know the one with the big red push pull ****? For years I have looked for a reason to put that switch on a shifter.........Look no more!!!! That is my 10k activation switch. LMAO!!!!! No it's not like turning on a blower.(like you could do that) But you can feel it and that's good enough for me. But what I want to know, is there any risks by turning it on during wide open throttle, or in the midst of an acceleration? I hope not, because that little switch is going to give me giggles for a long time. Thank all you guys for your post to give me the know how to do this. I'm still laughing.
Thanks for the compliment Nickiboy. That's pretty much been my dream truck since I was a kid. I built in in hopes of going racing on the weekends. I promised my wife we would have a baby after I got done building it. We just had triplets......can you guess what the truck does now? Caution, dust collection test in progress is all I can say. Every one says, "now you'll have to sell your big truck." No, just send fuel for Christmas. Thanks again.

P.S. I guess I need to post pictures of my dually the one I did the mod on.
