Hi. I have a 95 bronco 5.8L, and am going to put on a Rough Country 2.5 inch suspension lift $349.00 "OR" Rough Country 2 inch body lift $99.00. I'm not sure to go with a suspension or body lift. What do you all think? And what is the function of a Pitman arm & Radius arm brackets? Do I need them? I am also going to put on Pacesetter headers $359.00, Flow Master delta 50 series truck/SUV performance cat back system $258.00 Give me good or bad feedback on any of these parts. Thanks. JD
1. Everyone has their own opinion about which lift company is best. Do a search in the Bronco forum; there is a lot to read.
2. Personally I would go with the suspension lift; I am not a big fan of body lifts. Many of them don't come with the necessary parts to extend necessary components (fuel tank filler, shifter linkage, wiring harness, etc)
3. As for the pitman and radius arm brackets my guess would be no with a 2 1/2 inch lift
4. I have no experience with Pacesetter, but I have heard nothing but bad things. I would recommend Banks or Bassani (I have no experience with Bassani, but have herd good things from FTE)
5. Everyone has their own preference on mufflers. Every muffler sounds different, what type of sound are you looking for?
I agree with chris, suspension is the way to go. because it gives you better off and on road manners. a body lift doesnt look to good . it will alow a bigger tire but if your suspension is stock it wont make any difference. pacesetter has not been to favored here , quality not to good. Gibson, jba, edelbrock, bassani are all good headers. with a 2.5 lift the pitman arm wouldnt be needed, but you could move your tie rods to the top of the steering nuckles if needed.
