Hey my crew was woundering if you guys can post some V-10 Burnout storys. You we are occross the street from Post office and this 03 F350 super cab 4x4 left the parking lot burning rubber for about 60 to 75 ft smoke filled the air and the crew was cheering. Now they want me to buy one for the fleet. I don,t think so they would get more tickets than Cater has peanuts. Thank you guys and have a great day.

On sunday 2/29/04 I had to pick up some lumber, so the lumber being 14' I decide to take the trailer, My trailer is a 2 axle,16' bed ,4 ton (capicity) equipment trailer, I leave the house and 100 yds up the road have to take a left turn,,,cars coming I stop and wait,,,,,,while a Dakota is waiting at the stop sign,of the road I am turning into,,,he he,,cars go by,,I lets the clutch out of my 04' F-350, V-10 6-speed with DRW, pulling the trailer, and I let the V-10 have it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,wooooo-hooooo the left DRW's just light up,smoke billowing off them,,,me with a huge smile,,,my son (15)screaming yeah,,yeah, and like 15' from this Dakota with 2 people in it, they got a good show,,for sure,,not sure how they liked it,,,but either way they had a front row seat,,,lol !!!!

When we came back there was a DRW burnout (left side only) about 60' long and is still there now!!

I love this truck,,,,has'nt been back to the dealer yet,, over 4000 miles on it now, and I dont baby it either!! Getting about 10 mpg now,,, with the power this V-10 has,,all stock still I am very happy, Hmmmmm,,a Video clip of a burnrun,,its possible,,someday,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Later,,,,,,,,,Mark

 

Ahhh and I have yet another, Burnrun story,,he he Damn I love this truck ,,My kids and I have been cleaning out my moms garage,,tools up the ying-yang,,and bringing them to an Auction site,,so every Saturday morning we go to the Garage,, off-load my work tools, empty the truck out, and start loading the F-350,,, as much as I can fit in it, to the top of the cap, with stuff for the Auction,,,so we go,,unload the truck, Good thing I bought a 1 ton,,lol !

On the way home there's this stop sign,,,were I have lit them up on previous trips,, well this day,,, there just so happens to be a car carrier stopping from the other direction,,,,,he's just stopping ,,and I let the V-10 have it,,,,,, ,,Damn I love this truck,,lol the motor screaming, both boys 15 and 13 yelling, truck going sideways just abit, me with a big smile,,, as we burn across the road,, I gett a look at the guy in the car carrier,,his eyes about the size of 1/2 Dollars:-staun , He had a front row seat to!!

Now one of the best things about that was,, this past weekend when we brought a load down,,,we noticed that same car carrier, at this home with 2 Black Dodge 3500 DRW pickups in the yard,,So a Dodge boy got a front row seat what a Ford V-10 can do !,, This is a fun truck to drive, Ford keep building em like this one, and ya cant go wrong !!!

The crew realy love them thank you Also we all have seen burnouts all our lives but there is something about the Ford V-10 it is funny as all hell. I better not catch any of my help doing that though. All of you have a great day. Thanks again

 

My auto SB supercab is funny with 235/85r16's on it.

I can't really spin them easily from just planting my foot to the floor... unless I'm making a turn, but the LS doesn't work well and it just spins one.

One day, I go to my sister's warehouse, where there is a commercial street with no traffic.

Just a small amount of power-braking to get BOTH rear wheels loose, plant foot to floor, hit rev limiter, rear-end starting to slide sideways.

In drive, it shifts into 2nd gear. KEEPS GOING through 2nd. Hit 3rd, and of course, not enough torque to keep spinning the tires, but man, that burnout was over 100 feet long... more like 150 feet.
