Catalytic Converters
Hey everyone. I just got a quick question maybe someone can help me out. I have a 96 Ford Aerostar and there is a check engine light. I pulled the code P0420 out of it and its catalyst below threshold. I was wondering if its the catalytic converter and is a direct bolt on or do I have to cut and weld. Thanks for the help.

cut and weld. mine was in my 91 3.0
I actually took mine out when they went out, and put in a straight pipe in their place. (there were two, inline).
big milage boost. but in oregon there are no emissions laws, soooo, check before you take my idea to heart!
