Since I am new at this game be gentle with your answers please.
Why do I need to leave the sway bar on my F150 4X4 that is my daily driver in bad weather when I can't ride the bike to work, that I play in the desert (trails no big rocks)with on the weekends?
It hangs down below the axle.
Is there a better way?
If I take it off will my truck roll over the next time I go around a corner?
How far does it hang down? It may not be worth it, but you could fab your own mounts above the axle, which would mean remounting the anti-sway bar higher, or shorening the ends of it...
You could always get bigger tires and then youd have more over all clearance...
I went from 31's to 33's. We are installing a A 4 inch lift. I am getting higher but those things still hang down below the axle.
My son wants to take them off since he took his off his Toyota but I am a little more cautious.
I did the search because I knew that someone would ask.
