On the Ranger forum, there was a thread about how fast you can go in a Ranger. Actually sounds like an oxymoron, but I said the reason I only went 65 was because of the chance of hitting a moose on the road. I can tell you that would get my attention at midnight, on a dark and lonely road.
Nice moose, but...
The picture was probably taken with a cheapo disposable camera with a fairly wide-angle lens. This will really throw off your perspective and make objects that are only a few feet away (the hunter) look much smaller in relation to objects closer to the camera.
Wow.:-staun I'd like to know how they are getting it home.lol.Wev have a lot of Moose around here, but that has to be twice as big as any I have seen. The smaller moose taste the best.600-700 llbs.
I've gotten "old enough" that I'm like that part of the Deep Purple song..."it's not the kill, but the thrill of the chase" that I normally like.. BUT for a Bull moose like that!! Oh yeah!!! D.O.G. Pheasant!!! For you younger generation that's from Fog Horn Leg horn...you know Loony Toons...time for my Geritol.
Wow, thats odd. If you look at the antlers on the ground, they look very normal. Only the rack towards the camera is huge like the moose. Wonder why that is. Because its a unbalanced moose rack. Ofcourse its not a cheaply faked picture. I bet he walked funny.
