86 bronco will not die!!
i own a 86 bronco II with 165,000 miles and it has a very bad tranny. I got it at the beginning of the winter with 160,000 miles and the 4th gear syncro was out and the input bearing was shot. now it makes less noise than when i bought it and now i can get it into 4th gear almost all the time, its like its fixing its self. God i love owning a ford

I have a 86 with 250,000 miles on it. I drive it all over the country, (was in Pipstone in November and December) as it's a real work horse. I bought it three years ago and had to do some minor work befor it's first road trip to New Mexico to work on wind turbines. I have replaced the clutch, the drive shaft, and the fuel pumps.
