Measuring driveshaft angles- Torque1st?
I just measured the angles for my driveshaft, and have been using info form the website http://www.vibratesoftware.com/html_...tm#Information , and Im kinda confused on hoow to change them. My transfer case is 5 degrees up, shaft is 10 degrees up, and pinion angle was 8.5 degrees up. Now according to the site, having up angles on all three is acceptable, but my calculated working angles were: front 5 degrees and rear 1.5 degrees. Now i do have a vibration at 65 mph and above, so according to what i found, it doesnt help the situation. So, which angle should i start working with, because it seems to me that in changing one will affect the other? I just had my driveshafts slip joint replaced and balanced at the shop, and im just working my way along to rule out reasons for the shakes. thanks everyone!
