Wow Theo! That is one impressive Airstream. For something that huge I would've liked a 5th wheel trailer but I bet the 3 axles really help out.

It is a 34 foot monster that is really 35 feet 1 inch long.. In 1994 they couldn't measure things right.

I have had a fifth wheel RV before, Dan, and they are too high - too prone to wind damage.

I've heard some horror stories about long, bumper pulled trailers before though Theo. I would expect a 5th wheel to be easier to manuver at least.

In any case, a long trailer is best pulled by a dually IMHO

That is a very nice and very big airsteam. It looks like will be very comfortablewhen out in the great outdoors. I too have been looking at pull behind trailers but they have been 12 to 14 foot pop-ups.

For the money you spend on a new pop up you can buy a used 5th wheel.

Yes that is true. But it might look a little funny with a 5th wheel hitch on top of my 95 Bronco. LOL
