Bigger Tires, transmission shift problems
This is a question for all 2004 F-150 owners that have installed larger tires than stock (315's or 325 series) have you noticed a change in the shifting of the transmission. I've been told that larger tires will confuse the computer because the rpm's, speedometer and rear gear ratio will change all of this and the shift points of the trans. Would like to know if this is a problem or not. I've got my tires picked out, but the wheels I haven't decided yet, not much to chose from yet.
