Years ago I ran the Gabriels.After replacing them twice because the air bags inside developed leaks I tried Monroe air shocks. They have been on the truck for 15 years and still work great, they hold more air pressure(200psi) than the Gabriels(150psi),although I don't know if Monroe still makes the air shocks.

are the monroes more expensive than the gabirels? also do you like the air shocks? does it really give you suspesion adjustement? can you go from a siff suspesion to a soft one just by adjusting the air pressure?

I put the Rancho 9000X shocks on the rear of the F350 and they go from soft to stiff by turning the damping adjust **** to one of 9 different positions. They don't do anything for ride hieght, but they do soften the ride when the truck is empty and firm it up for when it's loaded.
