reverse works ok, thanks for the responses, at least i have something to shoot for.Any other ideas, keep them coming.

I should have asked if you still had reverse. I thought it didn't. I have seen this too and every time it was the foward clutches. Not hard to fix but you are going to need to split the tractor.

The little fleet of them that I work on their are 2 different systems. One is a gear pump system and the trans and hyd are seperate. And the other witch we are talking about is a piston pump system. And they need to have oil supplyed to them and they do that by using the transmission pump to charge it. That is why when he uses the hyd's it will send a serge throu the system and tighten up on the worn foward clutches and it may move a few inches. Hope this clears things up for you.

I guess thats why I operate them and a mechanic works on them.lol.thanks for clearing that up for me.
