DSB issues
DSB Settlement Today
I was really surprised after my telephone hearing today. The board decided to award me a full, no out of pocket replacement '04 for my March built '03 with only seven out of service days. Two dealers submitted false info about my truck and my personal character, so to everyone out there, be carefull and document everything. My three major complaints were the missing pilot injection after reflash, my C94 injectors which none have failed yet, but my argument was if nothing was wrong, why the change to the C95 injector, and a surge that only happens at a warmer temp than everyday around town driving will produce-the way I handled this was to put cardboard over the grille opening and drive for a few miles thus making the effect of pulling my gooseneck for 30-40 miles at 70 mph. I had a tech verify this surge while driving it and he actually found the rpm flair problem that I haven't seen for several thousand miles, all after my original paperwork had already been sent in to DSB. All in all, it was a pleasant experience.

Well that makes me feel a TON better. I got my DSB rebuttal paper work today and I about blew a gasket. The dealer left out 3-4 service visits and didnt even mention them. They also stated that I had denied them a chance to look at my truck which was done last week. I was just going to prepare my updated documentation in which I intend to tear the dealer a new one. Man I was so ticked.
