Took my truck out to the beach for a few days. Just got back. While down there, I noticed my 1356 t-case sticking. Its a manual transfer case, no bush button stuff.
After some wheelin, I switched to 2hi, and noticed I was still grabbing as if in 4hi, was using 4lo. Stuck my head out the window and there it was, front wheels breaking loose a little. I went to 4lo again, then to 2hi, reversed to d/c the hubs. It was then out of 4x. All the fluids are great, had just change them, and checked them.
Anyone heard of this and what it might be, and what to do about it? Thanks.
And yes, I am loosing the auto hubs and getting Warns.
