Tire pressure

What are the recommended front and rear tire pressures for your Ex?. A Firestone article said ford recommends 45 front and 55 rear for gassers and 50 front, 55 rear for diesels. The labels on my 03 7.3 PSD Ex says 45 front 55 rear.

Lower pressures generate more heat. If you are towing heavy loads max the pressure out for safety. The ride will get stiff but, I'ld rather have a stiff ride than a blow-out. (Been there!)
