I did buy 6 injectors in my E-150 1990 van 4,9l
one off new Napa injectors did leak so I did put old original instead, but he did not work. Then I put all old ones in my van and they did work, it like that I can not mix them together?
I have check the number on Napa online and they say its right one. have somebody clue whats going on
Could be too much variance in the ohms between the new and old injectors.
Check the ohms across each injectors(between the two terminals on the injector) to see if the new ones vary from the old one.
Thank you for this advice. I did measure the ohm on the new injectors it was 16,7 ohm but the old ones was 15,2 ohms
What does that tell me is the old ones worn out ?
The number on the Napa injector is 3-18036, on the original 9f593
After trying the injectors several times (I svitch on and off to get the pressure on them) I cant get pressure its like the computer or something cut electric from fuel pump.If take all power from the car in one hour and put electric on again then the fuel pump starts again ?
HMMM, I wonder if there is a bad injector wire somewhere that is grounding out and not letting the ECM fire the injectors.
Will it start if you leave the old injector unplugged?
Evidently, the difference in resistance in the injectors if confusing the ECM.
IS Napa replacing the bad injector that you bought? I think that it will be ok once they all match.
