Thumbs up Been here a month

Hello everyone, I've been lurking here for the past month or so and made a few posts but thought it would be proper to introduce myself. Owner of a new 2003 F150 Scab lariat 4 x 4 last year, discovered the site and its a great one at that. Hailing from Edmonton, Alberta Canada. Been to cold and snowy here to properly wash the truck and take a few pictures maybe in the spring / summer this will get done.

Buckskunk...are you going to wash it during your 3-week summer?? Only kidding. This IS a great site and I picked up alot of pointers before I ordered my truck. Plus, I'll be putting some of the common knowledge found on this forum to use when I pick it up maybe next week (detailed acceptance test drive).

Hey, what's going on with the Oilers? I expected to see them in better standings at this point. Think there'll be a hockey season next year??

Good luck, and I can't sign off without saying "Go Flyers"! (just ribbin' ya)

Don, Three weeks! we get at least four and two of them it rains. The oilers well, what can I say I believe they have a talented team but just can't seem to put it together. May be time to push out the old oiler alumni (Lowe, MacT) They have young talent and I hope we can keep them around for awhile and do better in the next couple of years, look out! One thing though at least we got rid of Comrie to Philly and you guys were smart enough to dump him. By the way I'm rooting for the flyers to the cup since the oil won't be there.

So that's who that flash in the pan was...Comrie?? Actually, it's been an interesting season all around, like you said alot of teams are heavy with older talent and aren't really giving the young guys a chance yet (Hitchcock refuses to play Niittymaki and instead wrings out Burke for all he's worth). Plus all the injuries and trades; can't keep up with who's playing where! But hey, appreciate your support of the fly-guys!

I think next year there'll be a lockout and that's when the older guys will bow out. The following year should be a blast with all the young talent.

But hey, since this is a truck forum, good luck with your ride and let us know when you post your pix. If I ever get mine delivered I'll do the same. -Don

Mike Comrie is the son of a local millionaire here and a spoiled brat, actually held out and refused to play here and wanted a trade from the beginning of the season. I agree probably will be a lockout but hey like you said a truck forum I can't wait to take some pictures and post them as well. Good riding everybody.
