what is an ASY -E Sensor???

what is an ASY -E Sensor???
Does anyone out there know what a ASY -E Sensor is? My check engine light was on so I took it to the Ford Dealer and they replaced this sensor, the light doesn't come on now, but was it really worth a hundred and fifty dollars to have this part so the light won't come on?

Asy---assembly E sensor..Emissions...eom,emo...probably oem...
could be cold air sensor...o2 sensor..map sensor...water temp sensor...Just call the mechanic and ask..and realize the part was only a third of your buck and a half.....
