I notice that when I start my truck (2000 PSD/Great Truck) there is a fairly loud clunking noise that appears to be coming from the front right area of the truck under the hood. It sounds like something is "charging" a flask or something of that nature. Not a problem, truck runs and drives fine. Just a little curious. Is there a flask of vacuum tank up there that charges on start-up? Too loud to be a relay. I have opened the hood and started while outside, cannot get it to do it when I want it to (isn't that always the case?). Does it about every 5-7 starts, cannot relate it to time shut down or weather.
