Asteroid that almost did

My hubby watched this on Fox News today. Supposedly, the panic button was almost hit last month about an impact. Interesting reading. Kind of puts that Sudden Impact/Armegeddon thought in my head.

That was one big space rock.....

Ya know, if i had to go, i want it to be in some kind of freak accident...but i'm afraid that i wouldn't have wanted to been around when that thing smacked us....talk about having a headache from being hit upside the head with it...

Fraid there isn't enough advil in the world to stop that headache tho...

frankly, I don't want them to tell us. Why should I care, you can't out run it, you can't hide, it shouldn't matter if we don't know. I don't want to see mass panic, fools that think they can outrun something like this.

We couldn't have done anything about it,but if we knew we were going to be hit,we could have emergency personel ready to respond in case it struck a populated area.People would scream bloody murder it there was a disaster and they weren't warned about it.

He would call the asteroid a terrorist and declare war on the rock.

HAHA good stuff. then some judge would declare the asteroid has the right to collide with other space objects, regardless of what orbit they take
