It's gone...

Well, just when my night was going good.
I went to meet my girlfriend, she was all excited, she got a new car, so i parked my truck and hopped in with her. Had a nice lil outing and returned to the lot where we met....
That's when I realized it was gone...
Some fool stole my truck! It was locked, i had the only keys, but sure enough in a crowded lot it was jimmied and it's gone.
Police don;t know anything but they are looking.

So if anybody in and around St.L see's a 2002 red extended cab ford with harley davidson wheels and a billet grill passing by them. lemme know. I doubt i'll see her again. just figured i'd try to ge tthe word out, hoping she shows up soon.

Called the police this morning, they said they've got a bulletin to the departmments in a 50mile radius, and a report to the state patrol. Nothing yet though. It may be a good thing, I needed new tires, i could just say they burned mine off. But i gotta have it back before i could do that.

But Now Am Found

Recieved a call from the state patrol 7am this morning, turns out they found a little red ford truck last night on I-44 after pulling over a driver for speeding.
It was on the back of a car hauler that had no plates from what i was told. They said the guy had warrant for auto theft, that's why they checked out the plates on the truck.

I dont know where it is right now, (i assume police or towing compound) it'll be availibe fot pickup tomorrow. It's getting towed back home in the morning.

It's good to know it's been found, but the police took my insurance info down before getting off the phone so it leaves me worried. But for now, yipee!!!!! it's been found.

Glad to hear they found it. Just makes you wonder where it was going and what was planned for it.

Yeah that and what keeps them from doing it again??? It was locked and in plain view of a store or two. Just makes me cringe.

Wellllll,
went last night to pick up the truck, seems everything is ok, except for the vact that there's no interior!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's not that bad, just the cd player, subs, front seats, door speakers and headliner are gone. oh the floormats too.

So i left it at a body shop compound it town. it's the one that did the upholstery and stuff. But insurance is trying to dick me on it, and not even wanting to replace the stuff in there that was not factory. Stupid little punks. I am going to go release some energy, chop wood or something.
