03 Exhaust
Does anyone know the size of the 03's exhaust pipes? Are they the same as the 02 (2.5")?
I'm looking into changing my muffler for a Flowmaster 50 series and they don't list the 03 Expedition on their site.

My Expy has a 2 7/8 in.outside dia. at the tip ( if I remember right) but I think the pipe is smaller at the muffler. I had a Flowmaster (70 series) installed that was 2.5 in.outside dia and it fit perfect.

The 70 series has slightly less of interior and exterior tone levels (within the mellow range) than the 50 series. The 50 series has a more of a deep tone level in the exterior side.
I chooce the 70 series because I didn't want the sound to resonate through the cab and not be able to carry a normal conversation. (Did not want my wife to complain about being too loud in the cab.)
