Trailer Mirror Adjustment
Anyone know of a way to adjust the spot mirror (bottom mirror) on the trailer towing mirrors on a 2000 SD? Would like to move mine in a little bit.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 03-Dec-01 AT 03:04 PM (EST)]In the 1999 and early 2000 model years, the mirrors are not adjustable. Later 2000 (and subsequent) models are adjustable but they are pretty stiff- takes a lot of pressure to get them to turn. The 2000 F250 that I had was built in 12/99 and it's mirrors were adjustable. You might use that date to judge whether yours are adjustable too.

If your convex is for sure non-adjustable, post up and I'll will detail what I did to mine. In the stock configuration it was aimed to low for me, so it was practically useless. My truck was built 1-98, so I got one of the early ones.
