laying compressor on its side for moving

laying compressor on its side for moving

Would there be any harm to a direct drive compressor if I lay it on its side for transport(easier to put in my truck this way) Can't see why ? Also how come these direct drive units don't burn up if they have no oil

It will not hurt at all. Drain the tank b4 moving. They do burn up very slowly while their performance sssslllooooowwwllleeee drrooooopppppssssss offffff.

So they don't last foreeeeeevvvvvvvvveeeeeeerrrrr. But they don't mind taking it sideways




Thats ok I found out the Devilbiss model I have , even though direct drive, is rebuildable.

Get the parts b4 they go out of stock... -hehe

I have an old oiless compressor that is also a devilbiss but it is for low pressure painting with a diaphragm. I have rebuit it twice.
