A Forgotten Anniversary

I wasnt sure if this thread would turn kind of political so i posted it here. Today is the eleventh anniversary of the first attack on the World Trade Center in NY where a bunch of middle eastern zealots parked a truck bomb in the lower garages under the towers and exploded it killing six people. After the event on 9/11/01 this event was almost forgotten, due to the scope of the larger tragedy. I for one feel that ALL victims of terrorism should be remembered and we should all take a moment of quiet reflection or prayer orsomething to honor the six forgotten victims of WTC

Bob, I think 9/11 was America's wake up call. Prior to that, we lost a lot of people when the Federal building in Oklahoma City was bombed. To the families and friends of the victims of all these tragedies, they are all equally as devastating. The shear magnitude of human and property loss that occured on 9/11 makes that the worst terrorist attack in the history of the world. That in itself will keep it always in the back of the minds of anyone who was alive to witness it. You are correct, ALL victims of terrorist attacks should be remembered.
