Long Bed Step-Sides?

they are rare finds, so they are somewhat cool in the aspect, but i think they are somewhat ugly to me. i like the short bed step sides, and they are kinda rare too but still good looking.

So the overall opinion is rare, but ugly. I am thinking of buying one and just wanted to verify my opinion. It is so ugly that you have to sneak up on it. I really like the short bed step sides, but the long bed ones are gruesome!
