Plastic, huh? Well thats cool that there is something there to cover the wiring.
I was thinking about this while driving home from the driveline shop, you could even use a short piece of carpet trimmed from the windshield trim back maybe, 6" to cover the wiring if it hangs out, and use stick-on velcro tabs to hold the edge thats facing the interior of your cab.
