depends alot on the truck.. A body lift can be a 2 hour job, or it can be a 20 hour job.. all depends on the truck, and how rusted **** is.

Well the truck i have in mind is 71' Dodge Power Wagon. How hard do you think that will be?? The reason i asked "in general" is b/c me and a buddy had this argument, he claims that suspension lift is harder then body lift...in any truck...

in that truck, unless it's rust free.. a suspension lift will probably be alot easier.

Probably just gonna do 4 inches of blocks between the springs and axles. Its either that or 4 inches of body...and we always search for the easiest route possible....lol

I believe a body is a little harder..or at least the one I did. Like redrocket said, depends on the truck. You have to make sure that the body is lined back up or you'll run dog-legged down the road. The body lift had fewer parts to worry about though. They both took about the same time, but suspension was easier for me.

good luck...and take pics..

Well ok, this truck has a story or two to tell. It was in a "Tuff Truck Contests"...and "Mudbog Contests" They retired it because the front driveshaft blew off. The frame has a very noticable bend between the box and cab. But its still fairly solid, and me and my friend want to lift it up a bit, and get it road worthy. Too bad it has that bend, but other then that the frame is structurly sound. What kind of Steering shaft/pitman arm modifcations would have to be done with either body or suspension lift?

if your gonna make it road worthy, please dont put 4 inch bocks up front....itl suck real bad when you get down on the brakes and the front axle comes out of the truck at 60 mph
