Ford Focus
sometime when i put it in reverse it is in netural and it makes a loud bang and takes off does this mean the tranny is shot or what
it shifts into drive fine but reverse is strange

make sure all your connections are good cuz its all computer controlled.
You can take the car and go 70 and put in park (long story on how this happened) and it will keep it in gear.

yes it is an auto what connection could it be and where can i look to find it? could it be low on fluid i checked but dont really know how to read the stick im used to manual transmissions

you check the tranny fluid wile motor is running you read it like a oil dip stick it should have a spot that says cold then on that says hot. if its cold it should be at the cold spot and if its hot u get the picture. if all eles failes read the owners manule it will anser your dip stick question. by the way you like icp? iam down with the clown till the end. hell i just live 5 min south of detroit.
