Help please it would be thankful.
i have but i dont remember what the pressure is i have been stressed over this i am back to no spark i was getting a code 14 pip signal when it was running
Have you checked the timing? Have you replaced the fuel filter? What fuel pressure reading are you getting? Have you checked for vacuum leaks? What does the shop manual say in reference to the 14 code?
It's probably something very simple. Start with those and tell us the results.
That 14 code for the PIP is your problem. PIP is Profile Ignition Pickup from what I remember. That means that the computer is not seeing the timing signal from the distributor. Get a wiring diagram and check the wires between the TFI module and the computer. Check for shorts to ground and continuity of the wires themselves.
it has 40 psi fuel pressure vacum is at 20 timiming is good it only cuts out on acc. ideals fine under load sometime it will fall fuel stays the same when it cuts out .
Track down the code 14 - it's ignition related, and since the code is set, that's a good indication of your problem. From what you've said, it doesn't sound like a fuel problem.
Just because you replaced the ignition module, the coil and the stator(the pickup inside the distributor) doesn't mean one of these couldn't have went bad again. i suspect one of these has gone dead again. First I would unhook the connector at the coil with the two small wires and with the IGNITION SWITCH ON and using a test light see if you have power at one of the wires.(as you may know one of these comes from the switch and the other goes to the distribuor after going through the coil, so only one wire will be live). Hang in there.
i will be hard at it this weekend and post everything i try thanks for all comments. i will figure it out one way or another. keep the commets comming and thanks again. (88n94- i have replaced everything twice so far. i thought the same thing
