I went to Advance auto parts yesterday and was lookin around at off road stuff. I came across some things call ed coil spring spacers. The bow says that they help wore out springs. My springs are fine but will the spacers lift my front end any?
Yes they will! As long as the spacers are bigger than the spaces between the coils.
They also work great for snowplows!
I had a Bronco with sagged front springs, installed 2 twist-in spacer knuckles at the lowest coil of each springand brought the front end up for 12 years!
Before hooking up quick-disconnect snowplow, added 2 more spacers per side. It rode level with the plow up!
After plow removal, removed extra spacers. This did not damage springs at all!
Good luck!
Only the 3/4 and1 ton 4 wd have front leaf springs!
All the rest have coil springs.
The spacers I used were aluminum twist in spacers, approx. 1" thick (coat with wd-40 and jack front end up before installation)
flippin them won't work.....i tried! i made my own front leaf pack from a f150 rear leaf pack so that i get more/thinner leafs which means softer ride and better flex! it was easier than anyone thinks!

how do i not know my trucks?
Only the 3/4 and1 ton 4x4 have front leaf springs, the rest have coil springs.
in answer to YOUR question....no they are NOT rubber....they are metal and are like a screw in the way that you insert them in a space in the coil and "screw" them into the coil to lift it!
