Casting # for 4V heads
Does anybody know what the casting # for 1987 351 windsor 4 barrel heads should be? Or are these just the same heads as all the other late model heads, and Ford just put a 4 barrel on top

My 87 351w has E5TE's, which is identical to the E7TE, except the E5 has larger combustion chambers and a larger thermactor bump. If your asking this in order to get a set of heads, go with the E7TE, as the smaller combustion chamber will bump the compression, actually if your starting fresh, the gt-40 / gt-40p or D0OE heads would be better, IMO, as a starting point.

The only "4v" heads for a windsor are C8OE which are 68 302 heads. They have 4v cast into them.
