I just purchased a 1996 Ranger. The previous owner had installed a visor. Eventually I'll have the holes welded shut and painted. I was wondering if for now I could jjst plug the holes with the self tapping screws used to hold the visor on? Just curious.
If you go to your local hardware store, they should have plastic body panel fastener things, they have a plastic head on them and you just push them in.
If you put some silicon on the threads, put the screw in, then put some silicon around the head of the screw you should be alright for a temp. fix. You might also try putting a rubber washer under the screw or some type of rubber grommet. Just a couple of ideas.
