67 Ranchero (gold colour)
I have a 67 Ranchero that's gold (factoury matched from the local paint shoppe) it's the 1st owner well, i think it is... my dad bought it new, and he passed so yeh, i have it now... not gonna sell it even though i've recieved a LOT of offers, and just wandering a little question (before all the restouration stuff) the wheels on it are AR Torque Thrust "D" series (very similar to the new models, but less shiny, in a way they're kind of a dark sand colour on the inside) are these or were these an extra package (my dad said so, but after the story about how i threw rocks in the fuel tank ( i was about 6 when that happened), and were still in there as of today, yet i hear no sloshing or strange sounds) i'm beginning to question a few things. but he said they were an option when he bought it.

I bought a '66 Fairlane brand new...so I'm kinda tuned into these cars. A friend of mine bought a new '67 Ranchero. It was a 390 4speed truck with bucket seats. It was the equivilant to the Fairlane 500 XL. He put Americans on it in '67. If they were available from the factory, I'm sure he would have ordered it that way. I don't ever remember Ford offering them as an option. The dealer might have made them available, however.
