good morning afternoon, and evening.
our construction business just put our new 2004 psd doolie
through another hard days work out here in cali and it
handled with ease. It has 4000 miles of pulling 5-6 ton loads of
dirt in a 2.5 ton trailer. The old v-10 f250 struggled way more
and was alot more thirsty also.
We have deciced to invest in that new predator tuner and I was
just wondering how much trouble it is to install or program and
if there are ways of not voiding a much needed warranty.
the 65 hp setting should be sufficient and keep us a little more
competitive when racing cars when not hauling and other
trucks when we are.
also thanks to whomever puts up this web site because it has
been helpful and Im sure takes alot of work. any testimonials
on chip experience is greatly appreciated...thanks again
I wouldn't haul the loads you mention in the 65hp mode - be sure and read the manuel that comes with it! It is easy to change settings - yes, you will be happy!
allright you guys make sound easy enough.
I assume that they can be purchased online
I am still a little hesitant about getting around warranty probs.
The truck is still pretty new and completly stock
so there is no egt, whatever that is, maybe it does...
thanks again

The predaator is installed from the drivers seat !
How easy is that ?!?!
And they are touted to be updatable via the web... there's already been two enhancments to it... - well one enhancement for adjusting tranny shifting and one fix to clear all codes...
Yes, it does have a code reader...
There is one problem with it... once you get it, you won't want to drive the truck in stock mode EVER again
