While shifting gears on my 90' 302, the engine "misses" until the rpms get up till about 1700. Althought it dosen't do this all the time, but when its under load it gets worse. I checked the rotor, cap, wires, plugs, and changed the fuel filter last spring. I do use fuel out of the farm barrel but highly suspect this as being the problem. The only thing that I could think of is that it might be the o2 sensor or maybe the timing. Any suggestions to this would be very helpful as I am getting very annoyed over this.
Checked all the wires again today, replaced one that looked questionable. It still does it, it almost seems to be getting worse. It dosent ping??? It seems to be only missing on one cylinder. I'm wondering if the timing if is off a little bit or maybe a injector is clogged. I'm running out of ideas that it can be. I didn't change my plug wires since i put the headers on last month, but none of he wires have been affected by the headers. It dosent make sense that i would be the coil, as I would think that it would go out completly. Thanks for the help guys.....
