Question Tires

Hello Fellow F150 Truckers
I have a question could you help me I have a 1998 F150 Ext cab STX I changed my tires on my truck from 275/60/17 to LT265/70/17 and i think my speedometer is wrong i was getting 550 to 575 kms per tank to tank of gas now i only get 490 to 505 kms could this make this much difference in the mileage im trying to find out what the right speed i might be doing if this is wrong how can i correct this Thank you Falconman.
