Power steering pressure hose replacement
I noticed that the power steering pressure hose is leaking at the crimp. I am going to replace it but have never messed with power steering before. Anything I should consider before doing it? Any hints or tricks you would like to impart on this newbie? Seems like it is pretty straight forward but figured I would ask in case I am wrong.
One question which may be stupid is, are all power steering fluids created equal? Are any better than the other? I looked in my manual and it said to use a Ford approved ESW-M2C33-F fluid. I can't find any fluids that have that number. Any input is welcome.
Thanks for the help.
PS. It is best to get the front tires off the ground. Not much will come out but if there is some back pressure you may get a spray.
