Where's info on van generations

Hi,

My coworker is planning to trade in his '94 Club Wagon Chateau with 150k miles, and I thought I might want to buy it to haul my race kart and other car stuff.

What generation of van does this belong to? I think it's 92 - 96. The later ones seem to look the same, at least my quick look on the web.

Are the 97 and newer a different generation, and if so, what are the major differences?

If somebody can point me to a web site, that would be great.

Thanks.

Dave

The grille got and "oval" center opening.

For '97 they got a completely new dash.

The complete engine lineup was all new.
4.2 V6 OHV replaced 4.9L OHV I-6
4.6 SOHC V-8 replaced 5.0L OHV V-8
5.4 SOHC V-8 replaced 5.8L OHV V-8
6.8 SOHC V-10 replaced 7.5L OHV V-8

Otherwise only minor bits that go unnoticed.(Trim, colors, etc.)
