Angry O/D light flashing

Hope one of you Trany guys can help.
I just bought a 1994 F350. upon driveing it home i felt the trany slip out of 3erd and it felt lik it was in neutral also the O/D light was flashing. I decited to just have the trany rebuilt. $1857.00 later i got my truck back it drive perfict.... for 2 days the it started to slip again an the O/D light flashes only it only dose it after the truck has been runing for about a hour i took it back to the mech that rebuilt it an was enformed he found no codes for this eratic problem all sencers have been replaced.and i replaced both bat. and had the alt. checked..... i gave 4000.00 for the truck and have about that in trying to find what is going on with the trany.
any input is greatly needed

im about to turn it into a fish habatat in the river
plese help
the trany is a E40D

When the light flashes a code is stored. Many code readers won't read transmission codes, so you need to find someone else to read the codes. All Ford dealers have the right tool to read transmission codes.

A friend had that same problem on his tow truck. Its a new F series w/ auto O/D. The light on the shifter kept flashing and he was told that the speed sensor on top of the rear end was messed up and was the cause of it.

i also just looked and the rear tires are smaller than the Frt. ones could this couse the problem?
