Heater Core replacement

Heater core leaked last night, my son spent a good portion pulling the thing out. Lots of cuzzing since it was hanging up on the dash. Now, the old core is covered with various foam and gasket material plus I need to replace the gaskets on the firewall. However, I can't find a place to get this material. Do you folks have any ideas? I was thinking about spraying it with expandable foam and cutting it back to OEM shape but I am not sure if that will work or not. Let me know what you guys have done.

I reused the old foam. I was very carefull peeling it off and it came out fine.

If yours is shot you may want to try some foam weather stripping. The expando-foam may work too.
