I don't think gas will ever get that high. The only places I could ever think of that it would ever get that high is in California and maybe in places in the northeast. Besides, if gas got that high, I am sure that it would do more harm than anything else.

If it gets anywhere close, it will happen at the stations right by Disney first. I'll be able to give y'all at least six months warning.

That would definitely suck if it even went over $2.00. However, I wouldn't be too surprised because our government is way too greedy with OUR money and doesn't care how much we are forced to spend IMO.

Shortly after 911, when the gas prices went nuts, what went even more nuts were the diesel prices. That stuff's cheaper to make but yet they were charging us at least 5 cent a gallon more than regular. I don't know if this was throughout the State, but it was happening here in S. Fla. The truckers, even though they're non-union, went on strike. It was cool, but sad, seeing the news showing all those trucks parked on the side of the roadways. I guess that little gesture helped the powers that be realize just where the economy would be without the help of big trucks. I know how much it costs a rig to not be on the move for even an hour so this was a "huge" event. The way the prices are going now, I can see this happening again - maybe for a longer period this time.
