69' Battery charging problem
I have a 1969 ford f-100 with a 390. The truck sat for about 10 years before I finally pulled it back out and started replacing parts and do all of the service on it. So far along the lines of the electrical system I have replaced the alternator along with all of the belts, the battery, the relay, the coil, and the starter. I have replaced all of the plugs, plug wires, and the distributor cap. After all of that, I got the engine running pretty solid but I have to pull the battery and recharge it constantly. I will just take the battery off the charger, run the truck for 15-20 minutes, then when I go to restart it, the battery is dead. I checked the belt tension and thats good so I dont know why the battery wont hold a charge. Anyone know whats going on?
