1998 windstar door ajar
Getting very fed up with this,door ajar light on ,when making a left hand turn and using turn signal bells and chimes go off and inside light flashes ,i have to pull the fuse every night so the int. lights will not be on,but this fuse also runs the wipers,windows,rear defog .For a few weeks if i turned the lights on (headlights) the problem would go away now its back and it will not stop and now the rear wiper will not work and the door locks only work every now and then on the two fwd. doors. its a 1998 ,3.0L with 135,000 km.
someone please help, i am hearing bells in my sleep..............

Not sure if this helps or is the same type connection but on a friends 98 F150 he has to WD40 the latch and mechanism then shut the door a few times to make a similar situation go away. you may want to checks the newer F150 forum for similar post.

tried the WD-40 ,did not work, changed both rear door (door ajar switches ,that was the code that came up when dealer did a check on it ) still not the problem.When i turn the headlights on the problem goes away,but i still have to pull the fuse every night for the dome light..someone please help....
